About the Role

As the Branch Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact—the face and voice of the company at the Meru branch. Your role is to ensure a seamless customer experience, support operations, and champion service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll be diving into:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Handle walk-in clients, resolve queries, and manage feedback.
  • Claims Support: Receive and dispatch claims documents, track status updates, and keep clients informed.
  • Operations Support: Coordinate daily branch activities, handle administrative duties, and manage office supplies.
  • Sales & Marketing Back-up: Assist in follow-ups on renewals, quotations, and product inquiries.
  • Premium Collection: Follow up on premium payments and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to HQ.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized files for client documents, policy statements, and more.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

To qualify, you should have:

  • A Diploma in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savviness and familiarity with standard office software.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
