Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations and administrative functions. The role involves managing full-cycle accounting, ensuring statutory compliance, driving financial planning, and streamlining administrative processes to support overall business growth and sustainability
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, vendor payments, expense processing, revenue recognition, and reconciliations.
- Lead Accounts Payable (AP) and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including collections and client account resolution.
- Administer payroll and ensure compliance with statutory obligations (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, VAT, Corporate Tax).
- Spearhead month-end and year-end closing, preparing accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Direct cash forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management to support business sustainability.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers, ensuring compliance with depreciation schedules.
- Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely preparation of documentation.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with group reporting standards .
- Manage relationships with landlords, suppliers, and service providers, including contract negotiations and administrative issue resolution.
- Facilitate procurement processes, from vendor onboarding to timely supply and service contract execution.
- Optimize financial and administrative processes to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA/ACCA qualification preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, IFRS/GAAP, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in vendor management, negotiation, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to manage finance and administrative responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
